Today (March 13th, 2025) marks several changes happening within Samutthaan Winicchai's six season causative factors model. Changes in season, climatic part of the year, and dominant causative factor are all occurring simultaneously on this full moon of Pagguna, the fourth lunar month.

The sixth season, Sisira, has ended. Now the first season, Kimhanta, begins.

Likewise, the cold part of the year* is ending and the hot part of the year begins.

Semha has been present as a causative factor for ~180 days and the dominant causative factor for ~120 days, and has been dissipating in influence. Now it becomes a secondary causative factor with middling strength as it continues to dissipate.

Bpitta has been a causative factor for ~60 days and has been accumulating in influence. Now it becomes the dominant causative factor with middling strength as it continues to accumulate.

For the next ~20 days, until the sixth day of the waxing moon of Citta (the fifth lunar month), Bpitta is the dominant causative factor and Pattha Bpitta in the Jao Reaun. Semha is secondary, and Apattha Bpitta is tertiary.

*Remember that dividing the year into three major sections (hot, cold, and windy) is specific to Thailand's climate.
